Dude, those were some pretty rad embellishments you put on there, and I like the way you interpolated the melody. I think you botched the rhythm at a couple spots though.

Dude, I batched the rhythm yes, because i spent little to no time coming up with that, then just recorded quickly. It was more of a penance piece i threw together because you guys were telling me i didnt know what xmas music was. so there it is.

okay. but it was good. i think you ought to do more with existing songs. you do good stuff on your own but since you don't have people to bounce stuff off of and get feedback, i think it is hard to round out a song and really hone it in to perfection. but when you are playing a song that already exists, the feedback and refinement is done on the song as a whole and you can just focus on making it awesome by reinventing it.
