I was listening to alterbridge's new album. At first i was not too impressed compared to the first album, but i will say as i listened to it more and more, it started to become evident to me that i was still not too impressed. Nonetheless, there are still a few insane songs, i will put them in one by one.
the bridge in this one is insane
the riff in this one can make a grown man cry.

Dude, i havent been visited by the muse lately. I only post newly written material. I have been in a facemelting riff drought.
I got to see Alterbridge live, along with Hurt, Fuel, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Some music fest in Indy. They were ok - much better than Creed obviously, but I grew weary of hearing the same sound over and over. Is the album kinda like that?
I would say this new album is repetitive and kinda gay. the lead singer wrote a lot more and it sucks. The selftitled was an awesome album, i think only 3 of the songs on that one are either uninteresting or sound the same. All the rest are pretty good. It really depends on what you listen to the most. If you are a guitar guy, tremonti kicks ass, and every song pretty much is rad on the first album. If you really love the vocals, i would say that is the bands weak point. He is a great singer, just not that good of a writer, he holds out most of his notes like celine dion, but he doesnt realize this is rocknroll,and that doesnt really compliment the guitars and drums. they make it work pretty well tho. I would say there are 5 songs on the first album that really rock, and the vocals are still pretty good. who knows if you will like it.
