I found a video of me playing drums a year ago or something, and it was full of rad ideas, but terrible execution and poor rhythm. I dont think i have practiced or played consistently in 8 years. Is this the end of my percussive career, or does anyone think there is any hope for a rocky balboa comeback?

nice. listen to the drum solo on low budget's first album. they did a similar styled solo. the one they did was pretty long, though. yours does have some good new ideas. i think you could learn new tricks. but if you don't want to, why bother? i guess i tend to think that if we like to do something, and it is a wise enough thing to do, we ought to spring forward and go for it. but if we don't want to do something, and there is no obligation, we shouldn't do it just because we can do it or because we feel some arbitrary "should" hanging over us.
low budget, yeah. that was about eight years ago, wasn't it? i was just listening to fade away today (the b-side recording).
Andy i do things for different reasons than the rest of the world.
It's really hard to tell if you should keep on being the most awesomest drummer ever or the most awesomest guitarist of all time. Maybe you could do both at the same time? Although it might be so awesome that something exploded. Anyway, keep on being so so awesome and rad all the time.

Its hard, but someone has to do it for all of us.
