Man this is easier than i thought

Here is yet another. I thought maybe my post was hastey and that i should listen to some more Raconteurs to make sure there might be a really original bone in their bodies, but no. Here is the next example.

Listen to the verses of this song if you havent heard it. That is what he is playing off of.

This is the best i could get for the raconteurs, they dont have a video for this song yet or even a sound video thing. The actual song is playing along with this kid.

I didn't know it was totally illegal to have similar guitar or bass parts as other songs. You should listen to broken boy soldier, that is a good song but I'm sure you will be able to find a better song with the same guitar.

Not only can gunn not spell he cant read either. I never said it was illegal, or that it was terrible to sound similar. but this is a little past similar, its pretty darn close to the same. And My point Gunn was, that Raconteurs are the furthest thing from original, they are just like everyone else out there. That was my point. Your bro advocated the reason i would like them was their originality and their unique sound, i think newyork has had some terrible effects on his brain. As for you gunn, you dont live in New york, so you must have an entirely different problem.

I think they are original in their sound, not in their chords and rythmns. its not a case of original chords or rythmns because most of them have already been played and put into a song. But its how the band presents them and then you can decide which band did it better or if either of them did it well.

And yes I agree I suck at spelling. oh and I'm a wuss for listening to Ben Folds, and i will thoroughly regret leading an active life when I turn 30.

I dont know how a band can present chords and riffs in a different way than another band when they are the same chords. When you say they are still original in their sound, what the hell does that mean? Are they original because they turned up the mids, on their guitars and turned down the treble? If almost the same riff as rage is being played how do you present it with different sound unless you put on a phaser a wah, and an flanger all at once to make it sound crazy, which they dont do. they play it straight just like everyone else. And this other song that sounds like everlast, not only is it following the same melody in the vocals, it follows the same guitar idea with the chords, and it follows the same lyrical idea. The lyrics are that same "im telling a story about someone else in the same way". I thought it was hilarious how similar they were in all ways. The only original sound you will get out of the raconteurs is the hyenas voice.

I'm sorry but that doesn't make it a bad song. none of those things made the song bad. I also think that its story makes it good to listen to.

I must be talking to a wall. My point is that they arent original. Nowhere did i say they were terrible no talent assclowns, nowhere did i say the songs suck, just that they are stock, just like everyone elses.
