So this is a familiar song, i had worked on previously but acoustic. I kinda ripped through it really slopily to give context but threw my solo in at the end. Its kinda a small version of the fastest most insane part of it. I jacked it up 3 times or so and let you see it, followed by the fourth where i nailed it. I worked on that for 3 days. Which comes to my next challenge. If anyone can play that same solo after 3 days of practice, i will buy them dinner the next time they are in town. oh and if you need the notes ill email them to you.

You cant Fight it.
At first i didnt like this new album. But slowly metallica, (Who is so awesome that we cant understand), takes hold of you and tells you that they are rad. I kept listening and found out that they were melodically with thrashing axes, telling me that i wasnt listening closely to how insane the riffs were. I found that every time i hear a new metallica album, my history has been pretty much been the same. I start out not liking it, because it doesnt speak to my ears that have been numbed by years of lame alternative music through my childhood. But slowly Metallica rings the bell of truth and my ears open up to hear things clearly and i realize I am for whom the bell tolls. Listen to this.

Just Try And Tell Me....
that other bands write hotter riffs than metallica. This new album is not that great in my mind, i think the middle of their career when they were focused on rocknroll rather than metal was glorious. But they still have moments of pure glory. This song is pretty rad.

MANLY MUSIC
This song is called RAD19 by the band "Flying Davis" which consists of Davis and Jason at Fart Budwigs house for 2 hours. It was cool to hear some of my riffs recorded to near completion, rather than just hearing them as i play them by myself in my house. Davis played drums, wrote the rad bassline, and the gay guitar solo that comes before my face melting solo. We threw it together in an hour the night before we recorded for an hour and a half before davis had to be home for mothers supper. then we spent another half hour or so remixing things. For time spent, I think we tore it up. We barely put in any effort, and i still havent heard anyone i know lay down a better track. so basically im saying,,,,,, I'm Rad,,,,,
i guess davis is too.
