I heard it the other day on the radio, and thought everyone should enjoy it again.

Letdown in Rock

Posted this on Facebook too, so anyway i heard third eye blinds new single on the radio and wanted to cry it was so bad. So i started thinking, why does every band i like go supergay like this. They are talented, write good songs, play their instruments like madmen, then they decide to throw it all out the window. Here is my list.

Third eye blind -good for 2 albums then 2 of them bit the big ones. mostly due to firing guitarist.
Incubus -same scenario roughly up untill makeyourself they were good.(nsyncubus)-schwantes
Buck Cherry -2 good albums 3rd sucked
Collective soul -died after dosage.... kills me because they had so many classic rad riffs
Our lady peace -happiness is not a fish you can catch was the end of them after they lost guitarist
Green Day -nimrod was the last nugget of gold they had. A few decent songs, but albums suck
Offspring -Xray on le' Hombre' :) last good one.
Aerosmith -nine lives must have been their 9th album. J-J-J-J jaded- so gay.
Audioslave -first album- glorious, then the others were variations on riffs from the first album.
Goo Goo Dolls -after superstar carwash, and boy named goo it turned into acoustic lovesongs

I might have forgot some but these are the ones that stuck out to me. And mind you, they had to be good in the first place to have even been able to let us down. Let me know of any others.

I sang this to my muse, and she finally returned.

First Attempt

So basically i think i had the wax way too hot for the glass and didnt poke air holes in it as it dried. Layer to layer there should have been some way to keep the air out, so it didnt escape to the outside of the glass so it looks like i have air bubbles. I also realized that the dye requires a lot less than you would think when using darker colors. Its the opposite of paint, it dries darker than you see it initially. Also the layers tend to bleed together if you dont allow adequate cooling times.As soon as i get the hang of it, i have plans for some unbelievable candles.

Father Son Jammin

So levi started getting the hunger to jam. He asks to all the time now, which is rad. He sings twinkle twinkle with helen before bedtime, so he thought he would do his own rendition of twinkle twinkle on the prs.

Late Annual Christmas Tune

Threw this together, with not a whole lot of inspiration nor precision. But i kept the annual tradition alive.

Badass Riff

Ok so i have had this riff since like highschool or something, but it was always played fast, like some rockabilly song. I got the idea from watching the metallica dvd of the black album to play this song slow. You see, the song "sad but true" a slow, huge, heavy, song was once played really fast which made it sound like a happy fun rock song instead of the badass piece that it is. So i had the same problem with my song. I always thought it was too happy and fun. So i slowed it down, and it turned angry and now i think its rad. I dont think i even played it slow enough yet. It could still be slower and more angry. check it out.
